1. Agreement and operator
These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and Digital Journey LLC, the operator of Lasso. By creating an account, creating or using an API key, purchasing service, or otherwise using the hosted Lasso service, you agree to these terms. If you use Lasso for an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization.
2. The service
Lasso provides hosted JSON-RPC routing, provider profiles, operational controls, dashboards, metering, and related developer infrastructure. Features, supported chains, providers, limits, plans, and routing behavior may change as the service develops. Public documentation and the plan shown at purchase describe the current service boundary; they do not create an uptime, latency, capacity, or error-free-operation guarantee.
3. Accounts, keys, and provider credentials
You are responsible for activity under your account and API keys, for maintaining accurate account information, and for keeping credentials confidential. Provider URLs and credentials that you add to a Custom profile must be yours to use. Do not place secrets in support messages, public issues, or application logs. Notify support@lasso.sh promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Lasso to:
- violate law, sanctions, third-party rights, or upstream-provider terms;
- gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, networks, or data;
- distribute malware, interfere with service operation, or evade technical limits;
- resell or redistribute provider access unless you have all required rights; or
- use the service in a way that creates material security, abuse, or availability risk.
We may rate-limit, suspend, or block traffic when reasonably necessary to protect Lasso, its users, or upstream services.
5. Plans, usage, and payment
Paid features, included usage, billing intervals, and applicable limits are shown when you subscribe. Usage units may vary by RPC method. Charges are processed by the payment provider shown in the purchase flow. Except where law requires otherwise or a written offer says otherwise, charges for consumed service are non-refundable. You remain responsible for taxes other than taxes based on our net income.
6. Third-party services and blockchain activity
Lasso depends on independent identity, payment, hosting, monitoring, blockchain-network, and RPC-provider services. Their terms and availability may apply separately. Blockchain data can be delayed, incomplete, reorganized, or inconsistent across providers. Lasso does not control a blockchain, guarantee transaction inclusion or finality, provide custody, or provide financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. You are responsible for validating responses and transaction outcomes appropriate to your application.
7. Your content and service data
You retain rights in profile configuration and other information you submit. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, secure, support, and improve the service. The Privacy Policy describes how Lasso handles personal and operational data.
8. Open-source software and Lasso Cloud
Lasso-RPC is made available separately under its repository license. These terms govern the hosted Lasso service and do not replace an open-source license that applies to code you obtain from a repository.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Lasso at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, nonpayment, legal requirement, abuse, security risk, or conduct that threatens the service or an upstream provider. Where reasonably practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lasso is provided “as is” and “as available.” Digital Journey LLC disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted service, any specific response time or capacity, or that RPC data will be complete, current, or correct.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digital Journey LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, blockchain assets, or business interruption. Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid Lasso during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so they may not apply to you.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms by posting a revised effective date. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will provide reasonable notice through the service or account contact when practical. Questions or legal notices may be sent to support@lasso.sh.
